Little Tots
The LITTLE TOTS programme is for children who are 18 months to approximately two years old. Each class consists of up to 7 children with a Lead Teacher and an Assistant. Children are introduced to MIA concepts of respect, order, concentration, coordination and independence through their work and social interactions. This programme is from 8:00-1:00pm
Play Group
The PLAY GROUP programme is for children two to three years old.
Children work at their own pace in a multi-age setting, learning independently
or from each other through exploration of learning materials. The curriculum
includes practical life, sensorial activities, phonics, scribbling. The school
day is from 8:00a.m-1:00pm.
Nursery
The NURSERY program is for children ages three to four years who get more acquainted with nursery rhymes and more work from 8:00am-1:00pm. After lunch, children needing rest will move to the napping room and will return to the classroom when awake. After napping, children are welcomed back into their environment and free to choose work if there is still time left in the session. Third year children, and children not needing a rest, will remain in their classroom for the full afternoon work cycle.
Reception
This RECEPTION programme prepares the children for primary school life. The subjects offered at this stage range from Math, English, Science, Global Education, to Geography.
