This section undertakes a hybrid curriculum of British-Nigeria laying more weight on IGCSE, NASSCE, NECO and JAMB UME Syllabuses.
The system of learning here is conducive and interactive involving different type of teaching methodologies as well as modern teaching aids and accessories for Smooth learning*
The section consist of two (a) Key Stages (3 and 4) which are the junior and senior Secondary consisting of twelve (12) and eleven (11) classes respectively. Each class is having a maximum number of twenty (20) Students.
Laboratories include: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ICT and Art Studios. Modern Library is also available in the section.
The classes are designed to have different sitting arrangement to allow for different styles of teaching and learning.
There are thirty – eight (38) teaching Staff and two (2) non-teaching staff in the section among which include: subject teachers, form teachers, Librarian, Guidance/Counselling and Heads of various departments.
The section also have two (2) discipline officers who work hard in hand with the Guidance and counselor to maintain high level of discipline. The section is headed by the vice Principal.
The section have been participating in a lot of internal and external activities. Some include: The Halima Factor, National Spelling Bee Competition, national Olympiad, Mathematics Competition, ICT – Tech Gen, ICT Wizkid competition Cowbell Mathematics Competition, etc.
The Section hos achieved a lot of trophies and awards in those competitions some of which are:-
– Emerging the best in Nigerian Spelling Bee (2019)
– Third best in African Spelling Bee (2019)
– Winner and Runner up in Halima Fast (creative Ants, Poetry, Witting) in several years from 2019-2022.
– Best in ICT wizkid National level in 2020.
Internal activities involve quizzes, debates, sports etc.
